There are a number of roles you can assist with at this year’s Cycle of Giving at James Drysdale Reserve and along the course! Find out more by browsing through the Role Descriptions below. A member of our team will be able to assist with placing you in a role suited to you.
Participant Welcome Caller
Can you talk someone’s ear off over the phone? You will be jumping on the phone to welcome each participant to the ride and encouraging them to fundraise to their best ability.
Rider Kit Packers
Fancy yourself as having a keen eye for detail and a speedy packer? You will be packing the riders kits with their jerseys, bib numbers and other rider essentials.
Rest Stop Crew
Help our riders to feel supported by setting up, maintaining and packing down those critical rest stops along the course.
Cycle Sweep Team
Fancy yourself in lycra and want to ride with the pack? Ride the course with the riders and assist the riders with mechanical, directional and first aid assistance as required.
Want to be amongst the action but cycling isn’t your forte? Assist our riders by standing in a strategically placed location along the course and ensuring they are all headed in the right direction.
Be amongst the action on the course and support our riders by driving the course and providing hydration, snacks and mechanical or first-aid assistance as required. We want to make sure that no man is left behind!
Show your support by cheering the riders on at strategically placed locations along the course. Don’t be afraid to get a little extra loud to kick the stragglers into gear!
Set Up and Pack Down Assistant
Help us make sure the event is set up and ready to go before the participants arrive. We also need some handy helpers to assist in packing the event down.
Hydration and Green Team
Make sure no one is left feeling parched and we are looking after the environment by keeping our hydration station fully stocked and our event space is kept looking spick-and-span!
Traffic and Safety
Make sure no man is put in harm’s way! To keep our participants safe you will be directing traffic, riders and patrons at the start and finish line.
Finish Line Assistant
Feel like a bit of variety on the day? Help us make the finish line an experience to remember by working in various positions to give breaks, running errands as they arise and being a hostess in our Oasis VIP tent.
Registration and Information Desk - FULL
Consider yourself a customer service guru? Put your expertise to the test by checking riders and volunteers in, handle any enquiries, assist TPCHF staff with merchandise sales and on the day registrations.
